What is the g7?
          
The G7 (or Group of Seven) is an organisation made up of the world's seven largest so-called advanced economies: Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States.

45th G7 summit

The 45th G7 summit is being held from August 24–26, 2019, in Biarritz, France.[1][2] In March 2014, the G7 declared that a meaningful discussion was currently not possible with Russia in the context of the G8. Since then, meetings have continued within the G7 process. However, Donald Trump and Emmanuel Macron agreed on this summit, that Russia should be invited to next year's conference.[3]
